The Third Armored Spearhead Division
WW II 1941-45
Welcome To The Third Armored Spearhead Division Web Site.
The Third Armored Division was Commanded by Maj. Gen. Maurice Rose. He led the 3AD in combat from Aug. 7 1944 to his death on March 30, 1945.
Rose was the only Major General to be killed in Combat in Europe in WWII.
He led The 3AD in combat during Five Campaigns in Europe during WWII.
My name is Charles R. Corbin Jr. I served in A-391st. Armored FA, CCB in T.F.Lovelady
in WW II. I am also a Past President of the 3AD Assn. I will inform you of our
